History of EC725 Caracal Helicopter
The Eurocopter® EC725 Caracal is a twin-engined helicopter and can carry up to 29 seated troops plus 2 crew members. Its primary purpose is for troop transport, casulty evacuation and combat search and rescue missions. The French Air Force needed a specialist helicopter that could be used for combat search and rescue. The main users are: French Armed Forces, Brazilian Armed Forces, Mexican Air Force. There are 4 variations of the EC725. The Military Troop Carrier, The VIP transport version which can carry between 8-12 passengers. The casulty Evacuation version which can carry up to 12 stretchers with four seated medical staff. Combat Seach and Rescue which is fully equipped for search and rescue duties in the field of combat.
